Mary Say
Leads Distillery. Creates challenger strategies to grow brands.

Mary has extensive experience in all internal and external aspects of brand-building through her time with Enterprise IG, H&M and Maritz. During this time, Mary has bought her strategic planning skills to a range of clients and sectors. From working on Mars and Nestle Purina in her design agency days, through to directing the Mercedes and O2 accounts during her time as Head of Communications at Maritz,, where she also set up their first Planning team. In 2003 she co-founded Drumfish Communications – a channel sales and marketing specialist agency. Mary joined Distillery in 2005 with the aim of creating a brand consultancy that would deliver real world brand growth solutions for clients.
Chris Molloy
Leads the Insight team and shapes the proposition.

Chris's career began in IT marketing and advertising, working with Cisco, Intel, Toshiba, and HP. As a Senior Consultant at Prescient, Chris worked on the re-branding of AOL and a portfolio including CNN, Cartoon Network, Nokia & Telewest. Chris subsequently joined Hauck Research International to run Redballoon, the kids and youth division, before moving into the brand development team working with Diageo, BA, ntl, and BAA. In Early 2006 Chris joined Distillery to champion the development of the Insight proposition and drive forward new and innovative ways of working with consumers and categories.
Emma Cambourne
Fuses insight, innovation and strategy

Emma joined Distillery in 2007 from Sydney where she worked for strategic brand consultancy Galileo Kaleidoscope as a Research Director. She brings over 10 years experience in qualitative research and has worked closely with clients to uncover and deliver insight-driven strategies that make a real commercial difference. Whilst her career has spanned a wide number of sectors, categories and brands she is most passionate about brand strategy, innovation and packaging working with clients such as Nestle, Dairy Farmers, Coca Cola and Johnson & Johnson. Emma's specialisation also includes getting inside the minds of young consumers, having previously run the kids/teens division at Galileo Kaleidoscope.
Jackie Wilson
Brings a real-world perspective to brand management.

Jackie brings 12 years of clientside FMCG brand marketing experience to Distillery, most recently working on repositioning the Kingsmill brand and the formation of an insight-based sub-brand for the bakery snack portfolio: Love to Toast Jackie has managed a variety of brands across a number of different categories including Twinings, Wella and Del Monte. She brings a passion for brands combined with a grass roots understanding of the commercial realities facing clients today.
Andrew Collins
Inspires creative thinking.

Andrew has fifteen years experience in branding, brand communication and innovation - with a focus on FMCG through a long association with Unilever accounts at home and around the world. After beginning his career client-side in newspaper publishing and information technology, Andrew moved into agencies - establishing a fascination with the creative process that remains undimmed. Brands, their consumers and the stories that connect them are at the heart of Andrew's role - with a particular focus on inspiring creative thinking amongst clients and colleagues alike.
Lesley Bown
Uses creativity and semiotics to get under the skin of consumers.

Having moved into research from a life of travel and design, Lesley is a creatively-led insight consultant. She specialises in converting insights into creative material that consumers can respond to, as well as providing a semiotic view of all creative and communication thinking. Lesley is passionate about using creative techniques to uncover underlying perceptions.
Jess Barry
Compelling ways of engaging consumers.

Jess joined Distillery after working client-side in marketing and a previous career as a nanny. During her time with us she has worked across a broad range of categories with particular focus on fmcg and retail. Jess brings consumer-generated insights to brand development. Her positioning work makes concepts come to life when talking to consumers. Attention to detail means she is a first-class project manager with considerable depth interviewing and group moderation skills.
Hayley Mangan
Adds vast experience to our Insight team.

Primarily a qualitative research specialist, Hayley's expertise over 10 years ranges across a broad number of sectors including FMCG, Health and Finance where her focus has always been on brand strategy; positioning and innovation projects. She has extensive international research expertise and spent a brief period working as a researcher in New York. Her passion is consumer and sensitive subject research.
